Costs
Cost vary depending in the numbers involved, the type of itinerary (tea house or camping) and type of transport involved. Every trek is different and we can only quote you the keep price when you contact us. We have to be and are competitive.
In general costs includes all in country transfers between locations, hotels with breakfast, all food, equipment and porters whilst camping, all permits and entry fees, sightseeing tours with English speaking guide throughout. Similarly, costs for tea house trek will include the same service as camping with acoommodation in the lodge.
The cost excludes airflight to and from Nepal, Nepal entry Visa (USD $30 for 30 days visa), departure tax, personal insurance and expenses.
For many of our treks, you can choose between staying in tea-houses or camping. A tea-house is a locally run guest house, but standards vary enormously. In popular areas such as Annapurna, tea houses are more like small hotels, with hot water, Western food and private rooms, whereas in more remote areas, they are far simpler and more authentically Nepali. Tea-house trekking is less expensive than camping, and is suitable for small groups. With large groups, irrespective of the area, it is more practical to camp. A team of guides, porters and cooks mean you trek in comfort and provide international-style food of a high standard.
We provide organised treks that are the best value for your money while preserving and respecting the environment. We are committed to keeping Nepal green by focusing on eco-tourism and low-impact trekking, and preserving the local culture. With camping groups, we always provide our own fuel so that no local wood is used for our cooking purposes. We have a team of experienced and dedicated staff including the director and office managers who arrange your trip, expert guides and porters, and cooks to prepare your food. Our guides are accredited by the Hotel Management Technical Training Centre and are fluent in English.
We offer you a wide variety of different treks to suit both novices and experienced trekkers. Whether you have two days or two months to spend in the mountains, an interest in mountaineering, trekking, or nature study, we can arrange an itinerary to suit you. We have outlined a broad range of trekking possibilities in Nepal as well as other sightseeing activities and expeditions, such as rafting or wildlife jungle safari.
