Annapurna Sanctuary is a basin at 4130m providing a natural amphitheatre with spectacular view of eleven of Nepal's major mountains. Most famous of them being Annapurna I,
Gongapurna and Machhapuchhre (Fish Tail). The meadow at the sanctuary is covered with vivid colours of alpine flowers and lichens at certain time of the year (March/April). The approach is through a deep and narrow gorge between Machhapuchhre and Hiunchuli mountains through which flows Modi River.
Day 01 – Arrive in Kathmandu Itineary Rating: A very popular and worth while trek Recommended for first time visitors.
Day 02 – Admin. & Sightseeng in Kathmandu
Day 03 – Fly / Drive to Pokahara and transfer to the Hotel.
Day 04 – Drive to Nayapul. Trek start from here to Trikhedhunga
Day 05 – Trikhedhunga to Ghorepani
Day 06 – Ghorepani to Tadapani
Day 07 – Tadapani to Chomrong
Day 08 – Chomrong to Machhapuchhare Base Camp
Day 09 – Trek to Annapurna Base Camp
Day 10 – Return trek to Bamboo
Day 11 – Bamboo to Chomrong
Day 12 – Chomrong to Ghandurk
Day 13 – Ghandruk to Landurk
Day 14 – Landruk to Phedi. Drive back to Pokhara and transfer to the Hotel.
Day 16 – Leisure in Hotel at Pokhara
Day 15 – Fly / Drive to Kathmandu
Day 16 – Departure from Kathmandu.
